Meeting in Ouagadougou on 12 July 2017 under the chairmanship of Roch Marc Christian KABORE, the Council of Ministers approved sending the revised treaty of the Integrated Development Authority of the Liptako-Gourma States to the National Assembly and adopted twelve decrees governing the Penitentiary Security Guard. It authorized a USD 32.83 million financing package from the Islamic Development Bank for pastoral development in the Sahel, adopted several administrative measures, and welcomed the inscription of the W-Arly-Pendjari Complex on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Numerous appointments were made across ministries, public services, and boards of directors.
